Update! Village permit received, but....

Permit granted, but gen. contractor needs to get his subs re-registered with the village for 2010 prior to any work commencing... Now, it's looking like next week (Jan. 4th is monday, when they plan to drop the dumpster for the demo...)

Meeeting with GC - 12/15/09

We met with the GC folks last night and everything sounded positive.
They are planning to demolish garage this friday... I better get the BEFORE pictures taken soon and get the last of our garbage out tonight for pickup tomorrow...


Unrelated, a Wells Fargo financing followup survey arrived in the mail today.
I'm going to wait a few days before filling this out and sending it back in,...

Permit?

a) Our contractor believes that the village engineering and plan review will be completed early this week and permit will be issued soon after that (this week?)... That would be wonderful!

b) The village provided that the above is possible, that permit could be issued by the end of the week but will likely be issued by the end of the month /year, assuming no more issues with plans...Would be wonderful news!

?? We'll see... Our construction loan agreement provides that work must commence by Jan 8th...Hopefully, we have the permit, good weather and crews standing by to get started. Will keep it all posted here!
